Clashnabrook Expected to set Fairyhouse Ablaze
There is a lot of enthusiasm regarding the racing event held at Fairyhouse. Tote Sports Lounge Novice Handicap Hurdle will be held on 15th February, 2012.
10 runners will be competing for a purse of €6,900, and the soft track will cover a distance of 2 meters and 4 furlongs.
The 10 runners competing in this race are Clashnabrook, Lookoutnow, Masked Phantom, King Of The Refs, Station Lane, Grey Area, Dog Barrel Hill, Sarsfields Legend, Son Of My Heart, Tirmoyle.
King of the Refs has been fairly consistent and secured second place twice, once at Leopardstown and again at Gowran Park, last year.
Lookoutnow is another tough competitor, he was placed 1st twice last year in December.
At Cork, he breezed past his competitors in the Novice Handicap Hurdle defeating Really Unique by 1 ½ furlong.
He beat race favourite, Rockyaboya at Thurles, in the Exit 6 To The Horse and Jockey Novice Handicap Hurdle.
Masked Phantom was placed third in the Dubes and Trinity Horse Racing Hype Handicap Hurdle which was held on 21st January, 2012.
He has shown promise in his work-outs, so covering such a distance should be easy for him.
Station Lane has won the 1st place on 1st February, 2012 at Down Royal. He had the winning odds of 33 to 1 and swiftly breezed past Beef To The Heels.
Grey Area strength and form is not at its best.
Despite being placed at 3rd on 4th February at Fairyhouse in the Tote Sports Lounge Novice Handicap Hurdle, the odds of winning are slim.
Dog Barrel Hill beat the favourite, High Class Show, with odds of 7 to 2, in one of his recent outings.
At Limerick, in the Friends of Limerick Racecourse Maiden Hurdle, Dog Barrel Hill demonstrated his stellar performance by beating tough competitors and crossing the finishing line, leaving the spectators in awe.
Sarsfields Legend is also not in his best form as he finished 4th in his last race at Fairy House on 4 Feb, 2012.
Son Of My Heart's winning odds are also slim as his last race was in July 2011, which he finished in 10th place.
This race will also be Tirmoyle’s first race of the year. He notched the 7th position in his last race and does not seem to be creating excitement among the fans.
Clashnabrook is a favourite among the punters. He is in good form and was placed 1st at Fairyhouse on 04 Feb, 2012, beating Too Late To Sell, a favourite.
His performance has been impressive, which is why he is attracting most of the bets this race. His best odds of winning this race are 9 to 4.
The final prediction for this race will be that Clashnabrook will probably get the first place win, followed closely by King of the Refs and Lookoutnow.
