Class action on credit cards paying over 10 years?

My MOM SAID SHE SAW A COMMERCIAL ON TV THAT SAID IF YUO HAVE BEEN PAYING ON YOUR CREDIT CARD OVER 10 YEARS THAT YOU CAN HAVE IT ELIMINATED, WWW. CLASSACTION .COM. SHE HAS SEVERAL OVER 10 YEARS AND PAyS MIN. HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN ANYTHING ABOUT THIS.

  1. If there is a class action suit and it involves your mother's account, she will receive notification from the lawyers working on the case.  If she has not gotten notification, she should be very careful.  There have been suits about privacy and if you used a card outside the country.  However I have not seen any about paying the whole balance.


  2. No, but be very careful. Check it out with the better business bureau first. It could be a scam.

  3. Nonsense. One's outstanding debts remain enforceable and do not run out after 10 years. Using a credit card means you have agreed to all the rules and conditions, including paying back the debt in full.
