Classic Controls vs. Standard Controls...Ps3?

Which do you think is better i mean like for example on gtaiv you can change setting to classic or standard controls.

Standard- accelerate car with R2 and brake with L2.

I really want your opinions i had already asked this question but got little answers.

Classic- Accelerate car with x and brake with square.

Classic. But thats just my personal opinion.

I prefer the standard controls, because i never liked x as a gas pedal, and because i can switch between GTA4, Motorstorm, Bad Company and NFS Prostreet without changing the baisic control scheme.

I like the standard. I like accelerating with the trigger, it feels so new... I've had PS2 racing games with classic controls but standard is really the best way to drive a car on a game.

I also like the control you have with the trigger. If you slightly push R2 down the car will go slow, while in the classic controls you must let go of X to slow down without brakes and then push it back down to go faster.

Triggers make it feel like a real car. Pressing a button to move is like pressing a button on your car to go 150 MPH...
