Classic Lotto question?

I don't understand: "there are 10 play areas and you can register for up to 10 consecutive draws?" Do you have all the same numbers for all 10 draws on that card? Or do you have to keep coming back to the retailer with the same card each time so they can give you new numbers? So, you can use one card ten times? I usually play Ten-oh in which I think the card is only valid for one drawing - I don't understand this "10 plays" thing.

  1. Classic lotto is played in Connecticut and Ohio. Since you mentioned Ten-Oh, you must be refering to the Ohio lottery.

Anyway, in many state lottery games, 5 or 10 panels are provided on each play slip. You can fill out 1, 2, 3 or more panels for one draw.  Now, if you want to play these same numbers for more draws, then mark the number of draws, so that you don't have to come back for those many draws.

For example, if you want to play 2 sets of numbers for 3 weeks, then fill out your numbers in the first two areas and also mark 9 consecutive draws. Then pay $18. Note that Classic Lotto is drawn 3 times a week, so a 3-week play is 9 draws, and you are paying 9 times of a $2 game. Besides your selected numbers, your ticket wll also indicate the dates for which they are valid.
