Classic Swordplay Studio and Stage Combat presents 'Brette Extreme Art 2011': Fencing News
Classic Swordplay Studio and Stage Combat organised a festival on the scenic fencing and fighting named “Brette Extreme Art 2011”. It was the first international festival which started on May 21 at Obolonska Quay in Kiev, Ukraine.
National Fencing Federation of Ukraine and Federation Sergey Mishchenko Aleksandrovicha was the supporting body of the festival. 'Brette Extreme Art 2011' was held for the purpose of artistic development in the sport of fencing.
'Brette Extreme Art 2011' took place on the account of following goals and objectives.
1. All-round development and promotion of artistic fencing as a sport.
2. The direction of physical and spiritual culture, the unique system development and improvement of the individual and effective means of moral and ethical education of youth.
3. Determining the level of artistic development of Fencing game in Ukraine.
4. Identification of the best bands and artists working in this direction.
5. Popularisation of fencing arts and techniques.
7. Raising the interest of fencing in the population of Ukraine.
8. Development of theoretical, scientific and practical bases of artistic Fencing, compilation and dissemination of experience of leading teams and performers.
9. Establishing contacts and connections between groups and performers, sharing of knowledge and experiences and joint efforts in the further development of artistic Fencing.
In addition to the performances and demonstration, the festival also lifted with a number of master-classes. They organised trade fairs which exhibited their products. The gunsmiths, jewellers, manufacturers and sellers exhibited and sold their theatrical props,
make-up, jewellery, fencing sport equipment and accessories and other cultural and sports accessories.
The people who are familiar with fencing can participate in the fencing competition held in the festival. The new bands and singers were also engaged for the festival. Moreover, various theatrical productions, dances, circus acts and plays were performed.
The festival had a friendly unifying character.
It was open to public and everyone was invited to participate in the festival. Classic Swordplay Studio and Stage Combat is taking a great step towards the development of the fencing game.
