Question:

Classic Wooden Boat Stains?

I have a 1959 Carver, mahogany lap, which has been sanded down to the veneer at this point. I have been looking at Sikkens, Interlux and Pettite for marine varnish, but am confused about what color the stain should be and should I put a sealer on it also. Does anyone have any clue as to the types of colors of stains that are used to restore Chris Crafts, Lymans or Carvers and what similar colors would be a good match?
