  1. Walmart, Target, or even Goodwill

  2. Sounds like you have a small budget, but don't buy flimsy chairs and desks that could be a danger of collapsing. There was a recall on folding chairs and tables sold at discount stores  that injured children when they collapsed. Call your local school and see if they have any surplus furniture (small size of course). Also, I have found good quality furniture at thrift stores and garage sales.

  3. I'd check a local $1 store!

  4. Go to either the Salvation Army outlets, Goodwill Industries, or go to Big Lots, they have little desks cheap! $4.00 I believe. Different colors also,(at Big Lots), you could try K-Mart,or Wal-Mart in the chilren's toy sections.

  5. family dollar, walt mart, k-mart, target , dollar general, you can also find a garage sales. or search on internet like ebay.

  6. try going to yard/garage sales. I've gotten a few little tikes type table and chair sets from them.

also check for school surplus sales. I got a table from one for my daycare for $1.00. Nothing was wrong with it. I just had a combination lock attached to it (I'm sure some knuckle head kids put it there).

Also check with day care centers. I got a nice wooden table from one a few weeks ago!!!

  7. IKEA

  8. I definately agree with Grandma Dorthy.

Though you have a small budget...what you have to remember is if you have to keep replacing them you are wasting money.  It would be good to purchase a good set for a little more money than have to replace those cheap plastic ones over and over.

Wal-Mart has table sets with 2 folding chairs I believe.  We received a set as a gift.  To make it more practical we covered the seats and the table top with heavy duty plastic.  Easy wash...less chance for puncture.  The chairs work okay but often I get concerned with finger pinching with the little ones.  Though don't quite grasp the concept of folding chairs yet.

Family Dollar has had plastic ones...but they definately are cheap.

Garages sales often have cheap treasures.

    Target usually has children's tables.

Definately consider getting something through Discount School Supply or Lakeshore.  More durable and child safe.
