Classy restaurant in Rio?

I have to treat my wife to a classy restaurantto celebrate our anniversary. Any suggestions? Price is not the problem.

For sheer upscale, take the tips in the other answer. If you want something more typically Carioca, try Aprazível in Santa Teresa or Azul Marinho on Arpoador beach (between Copa and Ipanema).

If price is not an issue here, let me recommend two which I have been twice in my trips to Rio. First it the Cipriani  inside the Copacabana Palace hotel, the meal is exquisite and the caipirinhas are the best in Rio. Second, I recommend Antiquarius which is in Leblon. It's a magnificent Portuguese restaurant with old antiques surrounding you. You can actually buy the antiques. I had the best cod in this place. You will be named "husband of the year" once you take your wife there!
