Puel said that after getting a positive result against Marseille last week, it was important for Nice to win this game and the Frenchman is delighted with his players’ attitude.
“We needed a bit of luck and a lot of concentration to follow up on the excellent points we won in the second half at the Stade Velodrome.”
On a question regarding Eric Bautheac, who was taken off against Les Pitchouns because of an injury, the coach said that he doesn’t know the details about his injury but is hoping that it’s not too serious.
“As for Eric Bautheac [taken off injured], he felt a pinch in his meniscus. I hope it’s not too serious.”
