The Juventus midfielder has praised Cesare Prandelli for giving space to the young talent, and believes that the match against Ireland will not be an easy one.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Claudio-Marchisio-c9312 has revealed that Italy aims at going all the way in their quest for the European crown, and has stated that the upcoming match against the Irish could be a tricky affair.
The Azzurri are set to play the Boys in Green in their last group match, and will need a win from the contest in order to have a chance of qualification to the next round.
However, they will also have their eyes set on the other Group C match between Spain and Croatia, where a 2-2 stalemate can knock them out of the tournament despite a victory.
Marchisio hailed the Azzurri coach’s attention towards young players, and pointed out to several youngsters from Serie B as well as Serie A who have been included in the final squad. However, the Juventus-man stressed that the
tactician has maintained the supreme level of quality in the squad, by selecting only the most skilful youngsters in the country.
While talking to Vogue magazine, the 26-year-ol said:
“Prandelli has focused strongly on young players, but without compromising on certain expertise. There are guys like Ogbonna, who comes from Serie B, and Borini.”
Marchisio went on to comment on other teams that share the Group C with them, and revealed his views on the quality of the oppositions.
