The Bianconeri playmaker was all praise for Antonio Conte stating that the manager provided the geniuses for attaining the Scudetto, against all odds. He added that the wonderful campaign under the tremendous leadership has provided Juventus with a new identity.
The playmaker for the Turin giants stated that the Vecchia Signora has an incredible squad, and the experience of playing against the best sides from Europe will only help the team to take the leap to the next level.
While talking to the press, the 26-year-old said:
“Coach Antonio Conte was the architect of this victory and he gave this squad an identity. We are a great squad, a team that is growing and we’ll improve even more next season when we are back in Europe.”
Marchisio grew as a player in Juventus’s youth system, and started playing for the senior team in the 2006-07 Serie B campaign, and the Scudetto is the first one of his career.
The Bianconeri midfielder stated that he has waited for the Serie A title since his first day with the senior side, and insisted that the suffering over the last two seasons only intensified his desire to feel the Italian silverware in his hands.
He went on to state that the Serie A silverware required a great campaign from the Old Lady, and they have delivered just that.
“I’ve been waiting for this Scudetto since I first arrived in the first team and especially after our suffering over the last two seasons. We’ve had a great campaign.”
