The Old Lady midfielder has reiterated that the Turin giants can close the gap between themselves and Milan, but stressed that Juve had to work hard for it.

Juve’s progression this season looks even more impressive when compared with their last year’s finish. The Bianconeri had a below par season last year,
finishing seventh in the Serie A standings, which was before Antonio Conte’s arrival at the club. Conte came to the Lady Killers in the summer of 2011 from Siena, and the manager has garnered a lot of respect from all corners of the footballing world for his
work with Juventus.

Marchisio was talking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, and was quoted to have said:
"We still believe in the title. We are still unbeaten, and Juve have never enjoyed a similar unbeaten run before. We have to believe in the Scudetto.
If we keep this up, we will be playing for the title right until the end. The next few games will be very important.”
However, Marchisio was quick to dismiss any signs of pompousness by suggesting that regardless of the outcome of the season, it had been a great season
for the Bianconeri, and commented:
"Regardless of what happens though, we all have a feeling that Juventus are at the start of an important cycle, worthy of the club Juve."
