Claudio Marchisio to get contract extension at Juventus FC – Serie A Update
Juventus FC midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Claudio-Marchisio-c9312, is set to receive a four-year contract extension at Stadio Olimpico Torino. The versatile midfielder has been a part of the Lady Killers since his youth days and is keen to stay in the black-white jersey until the
end of his career.
Marchisio started his footballing education in 1993 at the Bianconeri youth academy and has evolved into one of the complete midfielder for the Old Lady. The Italian International was added to the Juve first team squad prior to the 2005/06 season, where
he had to spend some time on the bench. After playing a few preseason matches, the midfielder was added to the first team.
In the recent years, the midfielder has become a key player in the middle of the field for the Bianconeri and also the Italian international team. The midfielder, now 25 years of age, is important to both the teams and Juve are keen to hold on the asset
for the coming years.
The versatile midfielder, while recently talking to the media, expressed his feelings regarding his stay with the Lady Killers.
"This day is very important to me and I dedicate them to my family. My story begins with Juventus in 1993 and I am very happy because this will continue for a long time.” Marchisio said.
While talking about the contract renewal and his vision of the future with the Lady Killers, the midfielder said:
"A lot of things said about my contract renewal in recent weeks, but both I and the club never accepted any of the rumours as the good relationship will be destroyed. My greatest dream is to lift the trophy as soon as possible, something that I wanted to
do for our fans who always supported us during the tough times," concluded Marchisio.
The Bianconeri general manager, Beppe Marotta, also confirmed that Marchisio will be getting his contract renewed and he will be bound to stay at Turin until June 30, 2016.
"We are delighted with this contract renewal because Marchisio is an important player who grew up in our academy, and he has the DNA of Bianconeri," said Marotta.
Marotta also revealed that the deal would include performances bonuses for the midfielder and also additional benefits for positive results.
