The Italian international hails the time he has spent with the Vecchia Signora; wants to win the Scudetto and Coppa Italia for the club.
Juventus midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Claudio-Marchisio-c9312, has revealed that he wants to spend his entire career with the Old Lady.
Marchisio, who emerged from the youth setup of the Turin giants, has been an inspirational figure in his team’s success so far this season. The midfielder has established himself as a first-team starter in Antonio Conte’s side,
and has scored some extremely important goals for the club. The brace against AC Milan earlier this season, was the highlight of the campaign for the Italian international.
The 26-year-old revealed that he wants to spend his entire playing career at Juventus Stadium, but for now, he wants to focus on the team’s pursuit of winning the silverware. The Turin giants are firm favourites to win the domestic
double, as they are leading the Serie A standings and are also in the final of Coppa Italia.
Juventus have had a dismal time since their relegation to the Serie B few years back, and Marchisio is desperate to guide his team back to their best.
While talking to Sky Sport Italia, Marchisio enthused:
“I want to remain at Juventus for life. However, for now, I’m just thinking about this season and helping the club get back on to the stage that it deserves. I’m more worried about winning during the present rather than thinking
about the future.”
The former Empoli loanee is relishing the experience of playing in the Juve team, and insists that he feels a lot mature as a player now.
“I feel like a leader because I’ve acquired experience in these years. The club have allowed players like myself and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giorgio-Chiellini-c14963 to grow in the right way. We are now in the position to teach others in the side about what
it means to wear this shirt…” added the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 international
Marchisio has scored eight goals in 29 appearances for the Lady Killers in all competitions this season. The midfielder will be in action when Juve travel to Cesena on Sunday, April 15.
