Inter Milan head coach, Claudio Ranieri, has responded to the criticism of negative tactics in Derby Della Madonnina, and insists that "it’s almost as if we should be ashamed of it."

approach. He further said that every team makes adjustments to their tactics according to the strength of the opposition.
While talking to the media after the home victory, Ranieri said:
“I think every Coach has his own philosophy and this is mine. When necessary, it’s OK to make our opponents play badly and play well ourselves. We won the derby and it’s almost as if we should be ashamed of it. I’ve never been
a rigid person – I adapt to situations, I change things depending on the situation. That's the way I am – take it or leave it.”
Inter have cruised to seven consecutive wins in all competitions, and the veteran tactician has urged his team to continue the same momentum. The Nerazzurri will host Lazio in their next game on Sunday, and Ranieri has insisted
his team to remain focused for the game.
