The Nerazzurri manager is furious with the referee after his team’s Coppa Italia quarter-final exit.
Inter Milan head coach, Claudio Ranieri, has blamed the refereeing decisions for his team’s exit from Coppa Italia.
Edinson Cavani’s brace sunk the Nerazzurri 2-0 at Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday, January 25. Ranieri believes that his side was denied two clear penalty shouts by referee, Domenico Celi, and instead he booked http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-Milito-c11166 for diving.
The former AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Morgan-De-Sanctis-c26801,
for pulling off some splendid saves during the game.
Ranieri was disappointed by the official’s judgement of the case and while talking to the media after the defeat, the tactician expressed his feelings and said:
“There were two absolutely clear penalties, but referee Celi only saw one. Unfortunately, we gave away the spot-kick and that was a shame, but I liked the Inter performance in the second half. We created a great deal, but Morgan
De Sanctis and our own errors made sure we couldn’t score.”

On the other hand, Ranieri is pleased with Sneijder’s return to the squad, and wants the Dutchman to stay in top form for the remainder of the season.
“Sneijder is recovering incredibly quickly and trains hard, so I hope to have him at 100% in the Champions League. I told Sneijder to stay calm out there.”
Ranieri also backed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 in the January transfer window despite reports linking
him to Paris Saint Germain.
“An error can happen when you’re spreading the play. I hope Thiago Motta won’t leave, as he is a very important player, but I know nothing about any news. He told me that he was ready to stay,” concluded the tactician.
Inter will take on Lecce in their next game on January 29, 2012.
