AS Monaco are set to face Valenciennes this week in Coupe de la Ligue, and has backed his side to play without fear against the Ligue 1 outfit
The principality club are off to an impressive start in the Ligue 2, and look on-course to make a swift return to the top flight.
Under the tutelage of experienced Claudio Ranieri, Les Rouge et Blanc have transformed from an average team to a dangerous looking side, and are more than capable to push VA to limits.
And the coach is confident that Monaco have what it takes to beat Les Atheniens and tell the world what they are capable of.
While talking to reporters, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager stated that despite all their good work this season, match against Valenciennes will be very tough for his side. Their opponents have started the season well, and any team playing in the top division
has an edge over Ligue 2 sides.
"We know we are going to face a good team, because VA have made a strong start to the season.”
The 60-year-old tactician said that the match in Coupe de la Ligue will be a good test for his side, and expect VA to play a physical game against them.
"This match will be a physical, technical and psychological examination. We are going to be tested. I want to see how my team plays against a Ligue 1 side. We shall try to highlight our strengths, fight and be competitive,” the former Juventus coach told
reporters.
When asked about his team selection, the 60-year-old said that he will field the strongest possible side against the Ligue 1 club. However, there are few injuries concern but the coach has assured the fans that Monaco would only go for a win.

Ranieri said that it’s a good opportunity for Monaco to showcase their strengths. Coupe de la Ligue is a good competition to show that we mean business and Les Rouge et Blanc will play to their potential.
