The former Nerazzurri coach has stated that he failed to bring success at the Giallorossi and the Milan outfit, because both the teams were at the end of their cycle.
Claudio Ranieri has voiced his resentment at managing Inter Milan and AS Roma at the wrong time in their cycle, and believes that things would have been much different if his presence at the club was accompanied with a more favourable phase of the cycle.
The tactician was the second manager to get fired by the Nerazzurri in their last season, when his efforts failed to turn around the dismal results at the Italian giants in the league.
The manager also had a not-so-successful tenure with the Giallorossi before that, and believes that it is more down to the phase that the club was in rather than his own short-comings that prevented him from doing better.
Ranieri was adamant that he has the experience of coaching many top clubs around the world, but maintained that he was always faced with the wrong timing.
The former Inter Milan boss pointed out to his achievements throughout his career, and stressed that had it not been for him, clubs like Chelsea and Valencia would not have the same fame as they have today.
While talking to the press, the former AS Roma chief said:
"I have coached a number of big clubs, but always at the wrong moment. I was there either too soon or too late. No one even knew http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 made a name for them after making the Champions League semi-finals.”
Ranieri went on to remark on his time at Juventus, and pointed out that he was made in charge of the team at a time when they had just come out of Serie B.
The ex-http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan coach also maintained that the Nerazzurri as well as Juventus were at the end of their cycle, when he was the manager of the two clubs.
"I took charge of Juventus when they came out of Serie B. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603, however, were at the end their cycle when I coached them, as were Inter."
