The Nerazzurri boss is looking forward to the Coppa Italia game against Genoa and is keen to lift the trophy again this year.
Inter Milan head coach, Claudio Ranieri, is focused on the Coppa Italia game against Genoa CFC at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Thursday, 19 January 2012.
The Nerazzurri have won the competition for last two consecutive years, and Ranieri is looking forward to making it three in a row.
The veteran tactician is predicting a tough game for his side, and has urged the fans to play a role in Nerazzurri’s victory.
While talking to RAI ahead of the home against the Rossoblu, Ranieri said,
“It matters a lot. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 won it last year and the year before, so it's important. Genoa are coming and it will certainly be a lovely match. I hope that our fans - although I know its cold - are coming to support us. This is what
the lads and I want, to bring many fans to the stadium.”
AC Milan duo, Massimiliano Allegri and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029, recently blasted Inter’s defensive strategy in the Milan derby. The duo insisted that the Nerazzurri played the full 90 minutes in their own half, only waiting for counterattacking
opportunities.
However, Ranieri insisted that he has 25 years of experience in coaching, and must have done something special to beat the best team in the league so far. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 boss is happy with his team’s recent performances, having
won their last six league games.
“I've been coaching since 1986. If now I'm the Coach of one of the most prestigious clubs in the world then I must have done something. No one has ever helped me, so I must have done something right along the way,” concluded Ranieri.
After a rough start to the season, Inter are making great progress and are back in the top half of the league table. The Nerazzurri trail the league leaders, Juventus FC, by just six points.
