No, I've never heard of this brand in Italy.

From the website you've provided it looks to be an Italian producing "italian"ice cream , for sure outside of Italy since he's offering it as "made fresh daily".

Claudio is an Italian name but you'll know that's not so difficult to give an Italian name to a Company even if none of its owners is an Italian or of Italian descent.

The best way you have to discover this is to try it and if it tastes good (but I've some doubts it will) then it's possible that's genuine Italian gelato. However in my different travels outside of Italy I've never tasted an "italian" ice cream that could be compared to the one we eat here.
