Claw clips for partial ponytail? ?

How do you use those claw clips in your hair to make a partial ponytail? Sorry I dont actually know the name of the hairstyle or tools.

You take your hair.. and clip it at the back.

part your hair in half get the clip and clip the top half ain't rocket science
