Clean Bachelorette party but fun! ???

Question

My friends would like to have a clean bachelorette party for me but are having a hard time coming up with good ideas. Help! I dont want anything that involves bars, strippers, alcohol, night clubs, etc.

Why not go to an Afternoon Tea at a big hotel?  Very fancy and chi-chi, but clean adn fun!

My daughter, who was the maid of honor last spring, rented a couple of adjoining hotel rooms and hired some recent cosmetology school grads to come in and give everybody facials, manicures, pedicures..they watched "chick flicks," drank champagne and had a fresh juice bar, got in and out of the hot tub, danced in their pajamas, ordered food in and laughed about the look on the delivery driver's face (tipped him extra), went swimming...

Everyone who was there said they liked it better than the typical bachelorette party.

You can "clean" the men when they arrive or watch your friends clean them..

If you like the outdoors and day hike with a picnic lunch would be fun.  If you want something more relaxing then maybe a spa day along with afternoon tea.  If you're looking for something in the evening maybe a drop-in class like swing dancing is always fun.

Here's a game that works well for any kind of party:

Have a word that is banned. In the case of a bachelorette party pick a word like "husband", "wedding" or "ring".

Everyone at the party starts out with a safety pin pinned on them.

If someone says the word that is banned, the person who catches them doing it gets to take their safety pin.

The person with the most pins at the end of the party wins a gift.

1. Weekend getaway

How about spending a weekend away with your girlfriends to a nearby spa resort or island for diving and snorkelling?

Or spent the weekend shopping in another state or town?

2. Sleepover party

Sleepovers can be really fun! You can do scary movie marathon or a make over (like in the movie Grease) and chat til the next morning. Good time for bonding.

3. Spa party

Organise a spa party at your friend's home, dim all the lights, put on some soothing spa music, all the girls put on bathrobes. Get your spa essential oils, aromatherapy oil burner, rent or borrow electric massage chairs, some nail polish and equipment, bath accessories etc you are ready for a fun and relaxing time!

4. Star gazing

Go camping at the great outdoors. BBQ and sleep under the stars. (Do get tents in case it rains)

5. Sports events

If you are into sports, why not organise a volleyball or tennis tournament? If you're into extreme sports, you can even try bungee jumping, sky diving etc. (Make sure you all get the green light from your doctors and insurance for such sports)

6. Shopping, eating and dancing

How about shopping, have a meal at your favorite restaurant and then disco dancing the night away?

7. Hollywood Glam

Have a night out with your friends dressed up like your favorite stars, rent a limo with food and drinks provided and ride around town.

8. Visit places of interests

How about being little girls again? Visit the amusement park, observatories, farm - l**k lollipops, eat popcorns and ice cream. Bring out your lunch boxes and water bottles and eat and drink heartily. Giggle and have fun like you were kids again.

9. Chefs for the day

If you and your friends enjoy cooking, how about a cooking competition? Called it the "America's Greatest Cook Competition" or "We Can Cook".

Divide into two teams, give each member a chef hat and apron. Each team is supposed to cook an appetiser, main course, a dessert and an unsual beverage. Encourage everyone to come out with their own original recipe and make sure you get someone to be the judge. Get it on video and you get to play it and have a good laugh.

10. Horse carriage

How about dressing up like Princess Cinderella and friends and ride on a rented horse carriage? Arrive at a hotel and you can have your "Royal" dinner. Remember to end your party before midnight!
