Clean Bowled vying to win Williamhill.Com Handicap
Clean Bowled is going to demonstrate a clean and big run in the Best Odds Guaranteed @ Willimhill.Com Handicap (London Mile Qualifier) and add sixth straight victory to his career chart by winning the race.
The high-voltage Class 4 contest over 1m distance is scheduled to take place at Kempton racecourse on Saturday, March 31. The action will begin at 5:10 (GMT).
For the prize money of £5,175, Clean Bowled will compete against seven runners including Sir Glanton, Gabrial’s Gift, Karma Chameleon, California English, Majestic Zafeen, Savanna Days and Fennell Bay.
The Roger Curtis-trained bay gelding gained some miraculous strength with the dawn of 2012. Starting from a convincing triumph in Enjoy The Punters Package Group Offer Claiming Stakes on February 9, he moved forward to finish first in each of the four subsequent
races.
This outstanding and matchless success streak has perked up the young horse’s confidence to a great extent along with establishing him as a favourite fighter in the eyes of the bookmakers.
Overall, the three-year-old brilliant gelding has won 5 out of his total 14 starts so far, earning £9,695 as prize money.
At the moment, the Richard Dean-owned horse is carrying a lot of winning momentum which will lend a great hand to him in today’s marathon.
Clean Bowled’ s chances to finish first are as high as 97 percent provided he manages to contain his only potential rival Karma Chameleon.
Karma Chameleon has been enjoying great form since last few months. Starting from a fabulous victory on December 15, 2011, the John Berry-trained bay gelding won his next three races in a row till January 16, 2012. He moved forward to gain a runner-up rank
in his second last outing on February 17.
Among the other runners, Majestic Zafeen is likely to show a decent run in the race. The Alastair Lidderdale-trained bay filly bagged an epic victory on January 15, 2012. She went on to finish second in her last start on February 23.
By and Large, there will be a tough tug of war between Karma Chameleon and Clean Bowled. Let us see who makes his way toward victory. Good luck to the duo.
