  1. goo be gone will take those stickers off the best, also scrape of the wax and rewax it, some snowboard shops will do this for about $20 or cheaper at the end of the season like it's is now, it's a good deal to hot wax at the end of the season or when you're done using it for the year so the edges are covered in wax and won't rust from summer storage, then when winter comes around all you have to do is clean the edges and you'll be ready to ride with a nicly waxed board.  I'll post a site for you on how to clean and wax your board, good luck.

  2. use salt and rubbing alcohol to take the stickers off. it's safe. Goo-gon will probably work pretty well too, just don't use it on the base.

As for the base, definitely clean it, strip the wax off and rewax it.
