Clean smelling natural detergent?

Question

I have been looking for a very "soapy" smelling laundry detergent preferebly one that is natural. I will consider conventional if it will leave my clothes with a very "clean-just-showered" smell. Not perfumy, just a nice clean soap smell. I find that no matter how good a detergent or fabric softener smell, once the clothes are dry, the scent is gone. Thanks all and thanks to all answers to my previous questions.

I think if you don't want it too perfumey regular Tide may be good for you. I personally like a stronger smell so I use Tide with a touch of Downy (April Fresh scent) and use the Downy liquid fabric softener & dryer sheets in the same scent. But that is probably not the smell you are looking for. Original Tide is really fresh smelling. Original Gain isn't bad either. :o)

I use arm and hammer fresh scent. It smells so cleeeean and it's concentrated too so you save moolah!

I have bought some liquid "Simple Pleasure" and the smell lingers much longer , in fact,  I stored some clean laundry in the drawers 3 days ago and they still smell nice , give it a try you might like it 1

in the final rinsing cycle put some dettol in, it's hygienic as well as leaving a nice scent
