Cleaning Curling Brooms?

Question

Does anyone know how to clean a performance curling broom head? Is it possible or do I have to buy a new one? If someone could answer ASAP I would like to clean it before my mixed Tournament. Thanks in advance

Just use one of the scrub brushes that are available at the rink, or simply wipe the stuff off with your hand.

Warm slightly soapy water, Fairy liquid will do.  Do not put the head into the water just use a nail brush and give it a scrub.  Never put it in washing machine as it ruins them.

Try and do it atleast a day befroe your competition so that it gets lots of time to dry out.  If you dont have enough time just give it a good brush (dry).
