The difficulty that many encounter with the cleaning of a rotostack system is that the tubes have areas that are difficult to reach.  clean them with a washing up brush in soapy water, but never assume them to have been thoroughly rinsed, as these areas can still harbor soap particles that are harmful to animals.

wash each of the elements , and then soak the tubes in a solution of Milton for about ten minutes. Then rinse under the tap, turning the tubes until they are clean. Here paper towels will reach certain elements, though the trick is to use a hairdryer through the tubes to ensure that they are dry.

Clean it in the dish washer and then soak it in water..I'd clean it in the dishwasher with no soap just to be safe.
