  1. scrumble up some news paper  , put the wad's of paper in the fridge one or two  on each shelf . leave the news paper in the fridge for 24 hrs . the paper will absorb  the smell .

*don't use the glossy news paper adds

    enjoy your new home :)

  2. The fridge can be cleaned with baking soda (leave a box in there). Dump bleach in the toilet and scrub it with a toilet brush. Use bleach in the tub too. Use a dry mop to clean the floors until you're certain that the varnish is off. Water and bare wood don't mix. You can make your floor bubble and lift if you use water.

It's funny because I had the same problem as you last year. No one lived in the house for a year and it just smelled musty. Use carpet sprinkle deodorizer if there's carpet. Shampoo them once you move in. Wash the walls and everything. That's your best chance at getting odor free.

  3. open all the windows and doors.. open the fridge air it out ...............now..  just soap n water rince the floor ..wash the walls everything will have to be cleaned.. do the east stuff 1st.

some times theres food left in the fridge  ..i seen a few times...

  4. First spray the entire house with lysol disinfectant, then pour a half gallon of bleach down each drain and in your toilet.Thenput 2 boxes of baking powder in the frig with newspaper on each shelf. The wood floors I would look in the store for a good cleaner and polisher in one.Sprinkle the carpets with freshner. And wash the walls down with Oxiclean and hot soapy water. That is the best way to remove any odors.Good Luck!

  5. Get some glass bowls and pour full strength ammonia into

the bowls.  Let them sit  for a day or 2, see if that helps.

When you clean the toilets, etc, use bleach, disposable gloves and you might want to wear a mask.  Open every window you can to let fresh air come through, after you try the ammonia treatments.  Do NOT mix the bleach and ammonia!  Make sure you dispose of the ammonia separately --down the sink is fine.  Just be sure to follow it with lots of water.  Did you get a home inspection done?

If not, it might be worth the price, so you know if there is a

mold problem.  some smells have to be "buried" under several coats of primer paint and/or polyurethane, depending on if it is coming through the wall or the floor.

    Good Luck!
