Cleaning LCD screens.?

What's the best things to use to clean the screens (cloth and liquid?). I use this LCD spray on my computer monitor, and then wipe it with a soft cloth, but it leaves streaky kind of stuff on the screen. And does the opposite of cleaning it.

  1. A clean, dry microfiber cloth is the best to use. I use one and have never had a problem. I also found this spray stuff made specificly for LCD screens and the spray + Microfiber cloth work the best from my experience.

  2. NEVER spray any of these cleaners directly on your screen.  Start with a microfiber cloth.  If that doesn't clean the screen, dampen the cloth **slightly** with distilled water (get some at a drug store) or a mixture of distalled water and vinegar, and use it to wipe the screen again.  The cloth should never be wet enough to drip, or even to be able to wring water out of it

  3. I bought some anti-static cleaning wipes from walmart. They seam to work ok.

  4. if its just dust....use a swiffer dry dusting cloth.  A whole box is pretty cheap and you can use them for everything from your tv/computer/electronics to your counters and furniture when they just need a quick dusting.  I even use them on my car dash in between detailing to keep the dust clear!
