Cleaning a catchers mitt?

My coach asked me to clean his AllStar catchers mitt, but I'm not quite sure what to use. I have some Rawlings "Cleaning and Conditioning" wipes, and they should work fine. I just want to know if anybody has any better ideas. Thanks.

That should do.  But basically just use anything that's lanolin based.  Shaving cream isn't recommended though.

i would go with the wipes. those should do the job.
