Cleaning a flat iron?

i use alcohol to clean the iron part to get any left over hair product off, is there something better to use?

When I use to clean is a slighty wet paper towel. and that usually does it. But if not, a little rubbing alcohol. So yup. But I the paper towel is safer due to smell, get in my hair. you know.

i always clean mine with a liquid soap and a slightly wet paper towel. works wonders.

I only use my flatiron on clean hair... I never have to clean it. :)
