  1. When cleaning a hamsters cage you have to take it apart. The wall is one peice, the bottle.the food bowl, the bottom part, the top part, and all the tubes.(well that's how my cage needs to be done)Put the hamster in a small trvel box that are selling in pet stores.Get a plastic bag and get one side of the bottom part with the bedding in it slide the other part into the plastic bag then then hold the handles of the bag and still have the bottom part in your hand.Start shaking the bottom of the cage until all the bedding is out.Put back the part.Put new bedding in the bottom part new food ijn the bowl and new water in the bottle.Put the whole cage back together.Check for any open parts.(after three or two weeks you get a washcloth and wash the cage with hot water).Put the hamster back in the cage and give him a treat for waiting.Hope this works(:'>)

  2. clean it by taking the cap off and fill it with water that has soap. then take ur hampsters sponge and with that, wipe it around. no big deal.

  3. its sort of easy take the hamster out put it in its ball or what ever you were going to keep it in take the dirty sawdust and bedding out disinfect it all dry it put clean sawdust and bedding etc in then put hamster in there you go all sorted :) hope this helped.

  4. To clean a hamster's cage, you have to take it apart. If you have a sing with 2 compartments [like 2 sinks], fill one side up with warm water &soap. Then, you need to have a sponge put aside JUST for cleaning your hamster's cage. [you don't want to use that same sponge for dishes and stuff because you could get sick]. Dump all the bedding into a bag &throw it away. Then, take apart the cage and put all the parts into the sink with the water &soap. Clean all the parts with the sponge, rinse them off with warm water and then dry them. After you've done this to all the pieces, put the cage back together! It's important that someone watches your hamster at all times while you're cleaning his/her cage too. Make sure that your hamster is in a hamster ball or something. Good Luck (:

  5. OK, first off that cage is WAYY too small for even 1 dwarf. get a bigger cage.

second, what i do is take the hammy out, place in ball put on floor in safe place.

dump all the bedding/food into a garbage bag.

wash all parts with warm soapy water (i actually dont use soap, i have a very complcated routine, but soap als works if you RINSE WELL) , i use  these dollar store sponges, theytre like 12 for a doller , thyre real cheep. use em nce and toss em so they dont get germy.

rinse all parts well. towel dry. re-assemble.

NOW, wash the food and water dishes (do NOT use the sponge you just used to clean the cage!! use paper towels (2) scrunched up or folded. use dish soap and rinse well.

put in new bedding (PS: do NOT use pine/cedar, ti will serously harm ur hammies health)

refill food and water containers (the water bottle in your 'cage' isnt good, it is hard on the hamies neck to acess and it probably will soon start to leek.)

and make sure everythings in place.

find hammy's ball, take him out, put him in his cage

then wash out the ball with the cage sponge  and let air-dry =]

  6. try taking the top off
