Cleaning new furniture?

How do I clean a new black steel headboard and end table, and a new black wood dresser

The dresser feels like wood, but it says it is not.

and 2 black wood wall shelves, thank you

You could clean the headboard and end table with a surface cleaner (like 409 or something).  Even though it's not wood, you could clean the dresser with Pledge (or another wood polish).
