  1. I keep my whites really white and get all stains out by washing them and then hanging them outside over night.  Leave them out till the sun drys all the morning dew out and any stain comes out.

  2. Vinegar is safe!  Don't worry.  That's one of the great things about it...it's not a chemical.  It's a mild acid, but hey, if you can eat it...

Ok, in a large wash load (wash with warm water if the labels on the clothes allow) add in 1  cup  of baking soda and let it dissolve with the detergent.  Add in clothes.  Come back on the rinse cycle (when the washer is filling up) and add in 1 cup of white vinegar.  If this doesn't remove the stains, you may have to bleach them.  But you can also use a Clorox 2 for colors.  (skip the generic, it really makes a difference in this case, read the ingredients panel on both, and the generic don't have everything the name brand has).  I realize it's for colors, but it's a bleaching solution just the same.  It just uses peroxide (safe for babies) instead of whatever clorox has in it.

  3. I would try a little bit of bleach to white them up.

If that does not work than it iron.

Walmart sell a product called SUPER IRON OUT and it removes yellow.
