Cleaning out my food cupboard and already know about spices but some sugars (soft brown, icing)?

do not seem to have dates on them, are they ok to use (they haven't been opened). Thanks

As long as they haven't been opened, they will be fine to use. After opening, store in air tight containers.

If they have been stored properly (in dark with a closed lid) it should be ok for up to 10 years. But thats only with spices and your sugars, if you have herbs they might not be too good.
