  1. Be careful what you do or use on it to try and get the markers and sharpie stains off. If nothing else, you may have to re stain it or get someone to help you. Good luck

Problem: Ink Stains On A Wood Floor Or Wood Furniture

Solution: Rub the ink stain with a cloth dampened with warm water and a wood floor cleaner like Murphy® Oil Soap. Wipe the spot dry and polish. (Note: if the floor is not hard-surfaced, Murphy's recommends using a commercial ink remover from a hardware store or drug store. Follow the instructions on the package.)

  3. Try hairspray, lemon juice and salt rub, and or milk. Good luck!

  4. Use a Mr. Clean eraser.  I promise it will get all that stuff off.  Once you get the stains off you can spray it with a sanitizing cleaner - I don't know of a nautural one, though.  You could also keep a container of Chlorox wipes in your desk drawer so you could wipe it down occasionally to sanitize it.

  5. paint it??

  6. Cleaning marker and sharpie off will be hard to do as both of them are usually permanent, you may have to sand the desk down or re-paint it as the other poster said

Sanitizing is another item all together- you can do that with the wipes that you mentioned or you can use a spray.
