How much would you say a person should get payed for cleaning an entire empty house, vacuming, sweeping, moping, dusting, killing spiders and there webs, bathrooms, cleaning the fridge, running the self cleaner on the oven, wipeing doors down, the inside and out side of all the first floor windows, and the inside of all the second floor windows. ....all this and a little more took a total of 12 hours. So how much should this person get payed????

  1. I had an estimate done on my house and we just have a 3/2 rancher.  For not even all that you stated, this woman (and her husband, they had a business)  wanted $175.00!   For what you just stated, depending on where you're at:  I'd have to say $300.00 and not a penny less!  EMPTY OR NOT!

The reason I say this amount:  You didn't say whether or not you used a ladder (dangerous) and you also didn't say whether or not you pay your own insurance and taxes.  If they're a house flipper, which I suspect by what you said,  That's a fair amount.  They should be able to pay that for a job well done!

  2. I would say at 12 dollars an hour , 144 dollars. $250 would be $20 an hour....

  3. $150.00. I used to work for a company who charged $48.00 every 3 hours. I got about $13.00 an hour. Whether the home was furnished or not. Usually the people would tip me pretty well about $20-$50.

  4. Like ... alot. Nah im just playing. Ummm... My mom does that and she gets payed like $11 dollars an hour for that so it would be about  $132 if I did  my math right...

  5. For a job like that i would say around 500. just because it is a lot of work and takes alot of time. Not only that do they have to supply there own cleaning supplies? That will pay a role in the price too. It is alot of work when you think about it, just because its an empty house dont mean that its less work really.

  6. i think around 250
