Cleaning upholstery with the Kirby?

I have the Kirby with the zippbrush and upholstery attachments. The manual does not seem to specify if I'm able to use this with the shampoo attachment. I would like to shampoo my upholstery, but have no idea how to set up the attachments as the manual does not specify? Does anybody have any idea?Thanks in advance!Gillian
