I have a clear bubble on the rim of my eye right now. i tend to get these a LOT; and i mean a LOT.

i looked up stye and it doesn't apper to be a stye. this is a BUBBLE; NOT A BUMP! it doesn't look severe either. i know it's nothing since i always had this thing showing up for years..i just want to know what is IS!

to remove it, i just scratch it off with my nail..i don't know if this is a good way to remove it but it always bugs the c**p outta me when i do have it; once i scratch it off, it's gone like that.

please state sources!!

  1. this bubble trouble you are having seems pretty harmless.  i think your tear film naturally forms little bubbles as you blink.  i don't have this problem but some friends of mine get that and it goes away as they keep blinking.  it may just be annoying but please don't stratch it off, you may hurt yourself one day but accidentally stratching your cornea.

  2. I'm really not sure what this is. It might be an allergy, but that is just a guess.  If it isn't bothering you or causing any pain, you don't need to see the eye doctor, but that is really the only way to find out. But, if you wear contacts, I'd go anyway, as this may be an irritation from the lens or solution. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you more.

    Take care.
