  1. Single stage Urethane paint is the way to go. No clear. We are getting ready to paint our cars at WTF Racing.net with paint we found on E Bay. It comes in a kit with 1 gallon Urethane, activator, reducer and filters for under $100.00. Go with the urethane because it's more durable than acrylic enamel.

  2. you dont have to, but it will prevent you from having to repaint it in the near future again.. if it were me yes i would do it.. and yes you should clear coat directly after you paint becuase if you dont, then you will have dirt and grime on the paint and it will look really bad if not completely ruin your clearcoat.. so i would go ahead and paint today and then allow it to dry completely for 1-2 days and then clearcoat and then allow that tp dry at least overnight and then you should be ready to go... good luck...

  3. Just paint it with acrylic enamel paint.

  4. you dont have to but it will make the paint more durable
