Clear pictures while figure skating?

Hey, okay so I have been skating for a while but I can never seem to get a clear good picture. My mom takes the pictures for me and she's not the most "high tech" person ever so do you have any tricks to help?

you would probably need to get a camera that is super fast(ones that take several pictures in a second or two).  unfortunately they are expensive

the pictures aren't clear because you are moving it is better to film

If youre using a digital camera there is a certain mode the camera has to be in to take photos of moving objects. Every camera is different so play around with the various settings and read the manual.
