My husband and I have just started TTC. I have been tracking my temp at the same time in the AM before I even get out of bed and the temps are varied, yesterday 97.2 today 96.4?? I didn't just ovulate because I am only 6 days after AF So... I am looking for reviews on the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor. Do you need to buy the sticks every time you use it or do you use the same one it comes with every time? Thank you for your advice!! GOOD LUCK TO THOSE TTC!!!

  1. It's quite normal to have variations like that in your charting.     Your temps will rise, probably to the low 98's or very high 97's once you have ovulated.

I used the Clearbue Easy Fertility Monitor - you do need to buy a box of 30 sticks to use with the monitor.    You use a new stick each morning.  On your first cycle you start testing on day 6, with the first urine of the morning.    It's supposed to get to "know" you - and if it discovers you ovulate later than average they will ask for you to start testing later on future cycles.     But if you have long cycles, you may use up to 20 tests (or maybe even more) the first cycle you use it.    After that, the number of sticks you use should decrease.    (But hopefully you won't need to use them again because you get a BFP!).

    Good luck TTC.

  2. I was looking into the monitor myself and if you google "amazon clearblue easy fertility monitor reviews" you will get a lot of stories from women that have been succesful using it and also a ot of infor on the monitor. You do need to buy the sticks. They are pretty much similar to pregnancy tests so you use a new one each time you use the monitor.

  3. I have a clearblue easy monitor and you have to  use a new test stick everytime you use the monitor.
