  1. From your desktop, right-click the icon of internet explorer.  Select "Properties" (probably at the very bottom).  In the "General" section of the window that comes up, select "Delete..." or "Clear History" or something of that nature, depending on the version of Internet Explorer you have.  From there you are done, though consider deleting the cookies as well.

  2. This one is browser specific... so I can't really tell you for certain.  It's dead simple to do in firefox, though... just hit ctrl-shift-del and tick off all the boxes that you want to clear, then hit the "clear data" button.

To be certain that there's nothing left, open up explorer and type this in the address bar:

    %userprofile%\Local Settings\Temp

and blow out any files you see in there... some of them may not let you delete them because they're still in use... just ignore them and keep going down the list until you've deleted all of the files in there.

  3. For Internet Explorer:Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  4. Simple, at the top of your browser, click on Tools

Next, scroll down to Internet Options and click

A page will appear and on the bottom will be a section that says History, there you'll find a Clear History button, click and presto!

  5. tools, internet options, clear history, okay
