Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has ever been to Clenaghans Restaurant near Moira in Northern Ireland, is it worth a run out to get a bite to eat?

  1. Yes - I've been.  It has been running for years now and I have heard nothing but good reports about it.  The Owner - Ivan - is a thoroughly decent bloke and the ambience in the bar is excellent.  Some good sing-songs there on a weekend.

There is a Sir John Lavery theme to the place (the original owners the Clenaghans were relatives).

The place I grew up isn't far from it and any time I venture back home I try to get down there.

Remember to phone first to book a table for the meal.  It is popular.

  2. Only if you like spending the weekend on the toilet doubled over...
