Hi. I took my camera into local drugstore. They used to have a photo department, & the clerk there has worked there for years. I asked her to troubleshoot the camera as she had purchased one for her own use at the same time as I, from another store. She said that she had a camera tech she would send camera to. I gave her 20 dollars & the camera (no I did not get receipts, because I have known her for years & trusted her). I told her I needed camera by first week in July. This tech is not responding to emails or to phone calls. She says she thinks he is on vacation. Who goes on holidays & doesn't check emails or phone calls for over a month??? I replaced the camera with a new one off of ebay (for under 200 bucks, but I still don't like being suckered). Any ideas? I've written her a letter and a copy to him requesting return of camera. All I wanted was for the guy to give me an estimate. The tech lives in another town. Repair may be sensor issue & costly for me, cheap for him. Thx
