Cleveland Browns CB Joe Haden uncertain against Dallas Cowboys, a game-time call – NFL News
The uncertainty around prospects of Cleveland Browns’ injured cornerback Joe Haden to participate in Dallas Cowboys’ game continues amid the team still not satisfied with level of his recovery from an injury so far.
Joe has continuously skipped training sessions earlier in the week and remained limited later but the team as a precautionary measure has left him a game-time call.
Independently, some onlookers who have seen Joe taking part in training in a limited tone appear to be not satisfied with his fitness. They see he is not comfortable 100 percent and may well be out of the side on the weekend.
The Browns are facing the Cowboys in a road game and if Joe is able to prove his fitness by then he will be taken along with the team. Otherwise, it appears difficult and his absence certainly will be costly for the team because he is one of the most talented players in the Browns’ lot.
It is another setback for the team who are in search for third win of the season and have continuously lost games. They are already facing pressure from the management to fix problems whatever they are.
A section of media earlier reported that new chief executive officer Joe Banner is about to introduce some changes in the front office as well as coaching department, and the current run of losses does not bode well with coach Pat Shurmur’s intentions to extend his coaching reign with the Browns.
Apart from the performance issues and injury scares, a wave of uncertainty has hit the Browns as far as future of officials concerns. A couple of days earlier, president Mike Holmgren was linked to reports that he was seeking to move out of the Browns and work as a head coach with Cowboys. He denied the reports categorically but did not give a hint if he was not interested to move out of the Browns.
It appears that the winds of change are about to start blowing across the Cleveland and now the big question is: who will be blown away and who will survive? The new CEO has kept the cards closer to his chest saying he has arrived with an open mind but will be taking some decision in spite of disliking of some officials.
