Cleveland Browns hope for Peyton Hillis' return for Pittsburgh Steelers game – NFL News
The Cleveland Browns who are missing out a number of key players due to injuries have set hopes for return of their running back Peyton Hillis for their Thursday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field stadium
in Pittsburgh.
The Browns are facing an uphill task of preventing the Steelers from thrashing them only a couple of days after they received beating from the Baltimore Ravens.
Odds are strongly in favour of the Steelers in all American Football Conference (AFC) north division showdown this Thursday night. The Browns are trying to make sure that they play their side with full strength with all their key
players fully recovered from injuries and fit to play.
Despite that Peyton, who missed one series in their last match against the Baltimore Ravens, had been declared as questionable due to a hip injury on the injury list. He however is expected to make a comeback for Thursday’s game.
The Browns meanwhile also expect their quarterback Colt McCoy to keep intact his chances for participation in the game despite that the player suffers a sprained right knee. He was injured in the Browns game against the Baltimore
Ravens.
McCoy had been taking part in practice with full workout. However there is no clear word on his chances of participation. He is listed on the probable list.
The Browns safety Mike Adams with a shoulder injury and right tackle Tony Pashos with an ankle injury are also questionable for the next game.
The injury report comes as a bad news for the Browns on eve of their tie with the Steelers. They were hardly able to come out of their 10-24 loss to Baltimore Ravens on past Sunday that they face another tough side the Pittsburgh
Steelers.
The Steelers have historical record in their favour to register an easy win over the Browns. They had thrashed the Browns 69-19 in two games they played in between them in the last season (2010). They have won 14 games out of 15
the two sides played between them. This includes seven consecutive wins in a row at Heinz Field stadium since 2003.
