Cleveland Browns prospects of win vs Dallas Cowboys hit by CB Joe Haden’s injury – NFL News
The Cleveland Browns are in further troubles as their top defenseman cornerback Joe Haden, who was injured a day earlier, missed the entire practice session on Thursday (Nov. 15) raising doubts about his ability to participate in their Sunday (Nov. 18) game
against the Dallas Cowboys.
Almost all teammates believe that Joe’ injury was significant to the defensive line and his absence will certainly be felt in the squad against Cowboys.
Safety T.J. Ward describes the situation:
"When anyone's down, especially a starter, it hurts. Not having Joe will hurt us, but the next guy just has to step up. That's how it's been all year. We haven't had our complete defence on the field at any point. It just seems like everyone's starting to
get back and Joe, I won't say he went down, but he hasn't been practicing. Hopefully we can have him this weekend."
The Browns who are struggling to put up a respectable number of wins on the points table are likely to be hit hard with the absence of Haden for the weekend game.
He was kept limited for Thursday’s practice but did not show up for training. The team awaits him to turn up on Friday and he continues to remain out on the sidelines, they might leave him as a game-time call.
It is also equally unfortunate for the player because he has already served a four-game suspension earlier in the season. He was found in use of a drug which was on banned by the league. He played the season opener but then missed the next four due to the
ban.
Neither the Browns nor player’s agent has provided any update about the injury and that if the player is going to be available for this Sunday’s game. Only information about the incident is that the team has kept him limited.
It is expected that the Browns might provide with some update by Saturday, and if he is left questionable or a game-time decision his participation will certainly be difficult.
