What is the differance between the highbore.and the highbore XL???

the hibore xl is 460cc size head the hi bore original is a lot smaller

Different weighting.  The center of gravity on the XL is lower and farther back, meaning it will launch the ball higher.  It is also bigger and has a higher MOI, meaning it twists less on off center hits which help them to go farther and straighter.

Newer drivers are better than the older ones, but the differences in one companies models from one year to the next are usually pretty small.  The XL is pretty cheap now that the XLS is out.  They have it at Golfsmith for $200.

xl is a new version, not sure of the difference other than it's more expensive
