Cleveland Indians lose to New York Yankees 4-6 – MLB Update

The Cleveland Indians lost to New York Yankees 4-6 in the second game of their three-match regular series encounter on Tuesday, June 26 at Yankee Stadium in 2012 Major League Baseball season.
With this win, the Yankees have also won the series 2-0 while one game is still to be played on Wednesday.
Yankees, who are currently enjoying four-game winning streak are also feeling comfortable to see their way ahead into the post-season.
"We only hit one homer, We had some big hits by some guys." Yankees' manager Joe Girardi said of his team’s winning streak.
Indians’ however, are playing not well for the last two weeks. They are currently carrying a four-game losing skid which could influence on their next round qualification.
They are currently holding a decent second spot in the American League but in order to qualify upfront with top American League teams, the Indians will be looking to raise their winning percentage to .600.
In Tuesday’s game, the Yankees played combined as one unit. The entire roster did well and never provided any chance to the Indians to take control of the game. Instead they kept them under pressure and eventually won the game with ease.
Left-fielder Dewayne Wise played well as his single in the second inning gave the Yankees an early advantage.
"What was I supposed to do run back to left field? I saw him looking at my glove so I just got up," Wise said.
Later Acta said of Wise, "If it's a great play, how come you're not showing it on the board for the fans? We were discussing that with the umpires, but, what can you do?"
Indians’ starter Justin Masterson played poorly and literally lost the game for his team.
“There were a lot of miss-hit balls, not real comfortable swings and somehow, you're four runs down on the board, But I feel we were doing a lot better than the way that looked." Masterson said.
He tossed six innings and received four runs on seven hits. He also gave four earned runs and struck-out only two batters while his ERA rose to 4.09.
